As the President of NIMA, I am pleased to share with you some words about our unique association. As many of you are aware, NlMA was established in 1971 by late Padmashri Babubhai Rathi. This is one of the most active associations in Maharashtra and particularly in Nashik Region solving the issues raised by the industries. NIMA also acts as catalyst for the industries in Nashik in improving their capabilities and skills through various programmes. There are many industries in and around Nashik having capabilities to meet the global standards. As per late Padmashri Babubhai Rathis vision and for the long-term success of NIMA, we are committed to empowerment and capacity building for a strong and stable Association where teamwork, shared responsibility and a culture of democracy and discipline are not only valued but also truly practiced recognition of our association.

My goal is to work from NIMA’s strong legacy towards excellence in all disciplines. The priority of Industrial sector like tackling the issue of severe power problem in MIDC Area by reducing the staggering hours, we propose to expedite the project of four-laning of roads at Nashik-Pune, Nashik-Aurangabad, Nashik-Surat and Nashik-Sinnar Highway. Friends, I would also like to inform you that we are trying to procure additional space for the Industrial area so that more plots are allotted for industries by coordinating with MIDC. We also Endeavour to house new initiatives at NIMA like working alongside with other associations like NICE, MACCIA, AlMA, Laghu Udyog Sharati etc. whereby encouraging the SMEs to avail the benefits of the international platform. We also plan to work towards promoting hopping flights to other metro cities and many such more projects are on the agenda.
